I have the Line Smoothing one - There was no MAC counter at my Macy's so this was my second choice. It was the right color & blended into my skin well but I prefer concealers that aren't as liquidy as this one. The coverage isn't as heavy as some of my other concealers I have so I wont be buying it again.
Pros:blends into skin well, good color Cons:too liquidy/watery, seems to rub off, lighter coverage
Honestly I feel this is a bit too light for my liking. It is very thick and will conceal alot, but if I had the right shade it might work better. I also notice it's a bit dry, more of a powdery creamy concealer in a tube. I like that it's in a sanitary tube. Has not made me break out (or clog pores), non-skin irritating, ok for oily skin and stays put. Just need a better shade (heck they only have 3 shades, big downer!).
This does take some warming with your fingertips before application to help the blending and application more smoothly.
Pros:sanitary tube, stays put, powder creamy finish Cons:only 3 shades!, must warm in fingertips to get to blend or apply better
Horrible is the only word to describe my experience with this concealer, which I bought when I bought foundation & powder. It does not go on smooth at all..and very hard to blend so that it keeps the color.
This concealer was ok, and when it said Airbrush, I
think I just expected more. I like it the first hour or so, but then it
felt oily and cakey on my skin. It hid well in the beginning, but I had
to refill to keep up the effect, and after the day was over, it felt
like I had mask on. I dwould try other concealers first before decding
ot buy it again...
Pros:Hid well Cons:Had to reapply numerous times to keep up the effect...
I always buy this concealer now - love it - in fair - great on my normal/pale though breakout/blackhead prone skin and under eye dark circles - brilliant all rounder - easy to use applicator (though takes a while to get out in the beginning) - light reflecting - pretty (but flimsy) packaging... I much prefer it to others of its type (i.e. touche eclat - sacrelige i know)...
Pros:great all rounder, perfect shade, pretty packaging, easy to use applicator Cons:price/flimsy packaging
I have both shades of Clinique's light reflecting concealor's. The light shade is perfect as a highlighter to use under the eyebrows and on top of cheek bones and to trace your lipline and cupid's bow. The darker shade i use when i am tanned (fake of course!) and is perfect for disguising any dark shadows and to brighten dark pigmented skin around eyes and nose area. The trick with this concealor is to use it correctly or it can highlight rather than disguise flaws. All in all it's an effective marvel for your make up bag, especially for days when you need a little help.
Fantastic Product!
This is my HG concealer! My shade is City Fair and it is perfect for my fair skin. It covers my dark eye circles pretty well - better than anything else I have ever used! I like that it is thick and creamy - it covers better than liquids. And the brush included is perfect for appying just the right amount. This is definitely one of my staples.
When I first purchased the Clinique Concealer is was very watered down like. So I exchanged it and got a new tube of it. I used the new tube serveral times but all the sudden I'm getting the same watered down substance coming out of it. First of all it gets everywhere and when you put it on your face you are rubbing under your eyes for 10 minutes just to ge the greased up look off. I definitly wont be buying this again.
Drys to a Powder matte finish...The BEST Eyeshadow Base around.. All others are too sheer and are "tacky" so they "grab" eyeshadow UNevenly..I have very dark eyelids, this covers completely, giving a clean canvas for shadows to show their REAL color...Of course its a graet concealer for undereyes as well.. Folks with DRY skin, might want to use a moisterizer under it...
I live in constant fear that Clinique will discontinue it, so I keep a few back-ups.
